To support our Customer Care Service within the Emerging Markets department we are currently looking for a full-time customer focused, pro- active and accurate Junior Export/Shipping Coordinator to work cross-business and cross- regional.

As Junior Export/Shipping Coordinator you provide a professional level of support by applying a broad knowledge of Medtronic processes, tools and policies. You have the ability to monitor product and information flows as well as resolving issues in an efficient, compliant and effective way to ultimately strive for the highest level of customer experience.
Responsibilities include processing orders in ERP (i.e. SAP) systems, manage all incoming calls, handle all incoming e-mails to (Customer Service shared) mailboxes, dealing with requests, letter of credits and tender documents.
The job entails close working relationships with local distributors, EMEA sales offices & sales force, Customer Care Shared Service Centers, Regional businesses department, finance, regulatory, operations, transport, supply chain department and banks.
The challenge is getting to know the customer, comply with their specific requirements, take care of their needs and strive to exceed their expectations.
Our Customer Care Operations Emerging Market team forms the business contact for sales orders and inquiries for customers in Middle East, Africa, Central Asia, Russia, Eastern Europe, India and Latin America. This specific role will focus on customers in the sub-Sahara region. In close co-operation with distributors, business managers, finance departments, shipping department and supply chain, we ensure excellent quality, swift delivery and ultimately our patients' safety and health!
You are responsible for monitoring physical & information flows and you manage all incoming calls (including orders) and incoming e-mails to Customer Service shared mailboxes. Furthermore, you are responsible for issue resolution and reactive communication towards the customer, including coordination of the issues especially with other teams.
To be successful in this role, you are a pro-active team player with a distinct drive for execution and results. You have a strong focus on customer satisfaction and are able to build lasting relationships with clients and colleagues in other departments and disciplines. Managing several tasks and projects at once poses no problem for you.
Must Haves
• MBO+ / HBO work & thinking level• a first experience or education in export related customer care/service and order management• Fluent in English. Knowledge of French is an asset• Customer service background and focus• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)• Computer literacy (MS-Office and ERP systems)• Strong sense of responsibility and high flexibility• Able to prioritize in a constantly changing environment and to deal with stress
Nice to Haves
• Problem solving skills and Solution Minded• Experience with Emerging Markets (sub-Sahara region)• Knowledge of letter of credit
