Within the department Research & Development we are recruiting for an Project Engineer.

Job description:

As Project Engineer at Eagle Simrax, you are the technical expert for dynamic sealing for customers and the internal organization. You know the technical details that are important to make sure that our seals function optimally in the automotive applications like water pumps, climate compressors and electric traction drives. The drive for continuously improving our processes, products and yourself ensures that the team is able to create future business with happy customers and a, positive working environment.

Tasks:

• Creation and maintenance of technical product information eg. drawings, product sheets, presentations.
• Project handling of customer validation/release of product modifications and new products acc. to actual quality standards.
• Technical trouble shooting within the product team structure.
• Support to EKK sales division in acquisition activities and customer relation management.
• Technical customer presentations and discussions.
• Market data collection and specification input to product development.
• Preparation and performance of product training to customers and internal organization.
• Support in internal projects and in the selection and review of suppliers.
• Takes care of an optimal communication flow between customers, internal departments, suppliers and corporate partners.
• Role of active lead/participation in product group and continuous improvement activities.
• Takes care of accurate and up-to-date technical and project documentation.
• Takes care of an optimal technical service to customers and stake holders.
• Leads product related projects in an accurate, timely and cost effective manner.
• Takes responsibility to assure the compliance with applicable HSE regulations.
• (International) visits to customers and suppliers.

• Bachelor degree in Mechanics or Mechatronics
• Experience in project coordination, preferably IPMA-C
• 6-Sigma green belt knowledge incl. Design Of Experiments
• It’s a plus if you have knowledge of the automotive cooling system
• Knowledge of automotive quality systems (ISOTS16949, ISO14001, APQP….)
• Software knowledge of Minitab, CAD-software (preferably Solid Edge), FEA-software (preferably MARC)
• Fluent in English and German
• Analytical skills and experience in trouble shooting
• Excellent social and communicative skills
• Teamplayer and knowledge sharer
