Position Summary:

Schedules and conducts technical training (live / remote) for the range of ACIST and BRACCO Injeneering (BINJ/BMT) products for ACIST customers, partners, and employees through classroom, virtually, and on-site sessions. Prepares educational materials, administers training programs, and develops business cases for training activities.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Create course curriculum and training that is organized and professional in nature while being both product and audience specific.
  • Develop course structure, content, agenda, and materials in addition to tools and equipment specific to various ACIST and BRACCO Injeneering (BINJ/BMT).
  • Create Quality System documents (i.e. SOPs, Work Instructions, Forms, and Technical Manuals) that identify the training processes and procedures. Establish the requirements for record management and retention of individuals trained.
  • Identify and procure training certificates along with any additional trainee ACIST literature, materials, or takeaways.
  • Identify, procure, and manage training tools, equipment and ACIST systems. Make arrangements with facilities for internal classroom training.
  • Work with New Product Development to gain product knowledge; transfer this knowledge into service documentation and training materials.
  • Assist developing training plans for New Products in association with training department ACIST HQ.
  • Work on the logistics required to train remote or off-site locations (whether at ACIST, in the US, or internationally) – procure and ship necessary parts, tools, equipment, systems and training materials.
  • Create a training calendar and timelines for each course and audience.
  • Generate a training bulletin/communication to supply course and schedule details to those interested in attending training.
  • Work with EU Customer Service and remote service centers, distributors, field service providers, and EU customers/biomedical engineering to define attendees.
  • Work with EU Customer Service to communicate training schedule, documentation, and expenses to the customer.
  • Provide training and support on the operation of the ACIST and BINJ/BMT other products to distributors/customers within the EMEA, and ROW markets as needed/requested.
  • Approximately 10-15% travel expected.

Knowledge And Education/Experience & Training:

Required:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a service and repair technician for medical device equipment or demonstrate a minimum of 3 years clinical experience in the diagnostic/interventional cardiovascular laboratory
  • Degree in MBO Electronics level 4 or similar in electronics.

Skills And Abilities:

  • Strong electronic background with a solid understanding of interface with software and mechanical components/functions
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills – both verbal and written
  • Training / didactical skills; adaptability to the audience
  • Dutch and English language skills – both good written and verbal command
  • Sense of urgency and dedication to priority projects
  • Project management, self motivated/directed
  • Analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
  • Multi-task and detail oriented
  • Customer focus, Team player
  • Knowledge of Quality System Standards is a plus
